Hi, I’m Laura! I’m 32, originally from Texas, and raised in Minnesota. I’m a proud mom of five incredible children and married my wonderful, supportive husband, Jeremy, in October 2024. My family relocated to MN when my dad needed specialized heart care when I was growing up. My family was grateful to find incredible doctors in the Cities who were truly a godsend and provided the best care during his life. This journey is deeply personal for me, and I carry his memory with me every step of the way. My dad passed away in 2008, but his love, strength, and encouragement continue to inspire everything I do. I dedicate my photography journey to him- not only as a way to honor his life, but also as a reminder to cherish every moment, capture memories while we can, and celebrate connections that truly matter.

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember—I was always the girl carrying a camera, capturing every moment, and never leaving home without it.  

After COVID in 2021, I purchased my first camera and decided it was finally time to pursue my dream of photography. What began as photographing my children, family, and friends for fun quickly grew into a professional pursuit. By summer 2023, I began taking professional sessions, and in early 2025, I officially registered my business and opened my own photography studio on Broadway in New Ulm. I am self-taught and still continue to grow with every session, exploring new techniques and creative approaches to bring each vision to life.

I specialize in boudoir photography but love experimenting with all types of sessions—from intimate stranger sessions to family portraits, engagements, weddings, and maternity shoots. I’m passionate about creating experiences that are fun, unique, and lastly memorable, while capturing authentic, raw, real  and emotional moments that allow my clients to feel seen, confident, and celebrated. Every session is an opportunity to collaborate, be creative, and make art that tells YOUR story.

When I’m not behind the camera, I work full-time at a school and spend my free time with my family, attending sports events, my daughters are in competitive cheerleading and I enjoy taking their team photos each yea. I, enjoy concerts, dancing, hiking, and traveling. I’m also deeply committed to my health and fitness journey, having lost 60 pounds this year, and love pushing myself to new limits. Music, creativity, family, and personal growth inspire everything I do—both in life and in photography.
